From a very early age, I loved the concept of drawing and creating art. From paper and pencil, I would draw ideas like ships and mountains. I lost most of that stuff over the years but then I tried my hand at drawing with software and stock images like is done on DeviantArt when it was very popular.
Since then, I’ve continued to dabble into this art form alongside my passion for writing. Concepts and ideas usually derive from my world building.
For example, the Evil Eye, (second picture below) was crafted after envisioning the Castlevania’s eye creature that drips poison and then one of those strange creatures in the Bible. This is the mashup in my head turned digital. The first picture, is the emblem that the House of Cole wears in my story, “The Ansville Gatehouse.” And last on the first row is what I began the whole series with. The concept born out of what I call, “Extal.” The strange wheel-like pattern that connects the worlds of the fae but with that, somehow overlapping Earth with crossroads.

This second row is kind of simplistic except the last picture. The first was a fun take on coffee and steampunk. I have another similar to this below. The moon and dragon is not particular of good quality but I like the image. And then we come to the one I call “Spiritual War.” Drawing on the previous image of the “Evil Eye,” I mashed that with a flaming sword with wings. I personally love this image.

Of course I had to do a steampunk skeleton with poison coffee. Don’t ask where I got that idea. I don’t know but it’s cool. The second picture is one I really like. I designed it to be a flag with some concepts within my “Dragonblood Legacy” world. And last, one of my first creations, is a fun saying because, well…I like both cats and dragons.

This last row is simple but a personal favorite. The trees were easy to design and change from dark to light, taking an actual picture of a tree on a hill. I made some adjustments and made a ring around the tree. I like trees and has a major significance in the Bible as well, a metaphor for Eden. The last is a flying shield which was just fun to draw.

On my actual site, AndrewNusz.com, I have a link to Redbubble where I have some of these images on mugs, blankets, etc. If anyone likes something here, hit me up and tell me what you want to see it on. I’m thinking I need to do another Pets 101 saying soon.
Hope you all enjoyed my other project.
