The Extal World Builder v 0.8 beta

Update: The Extal Worldbuilder 0.8.0a is a quick hotfix for the writing and topics editor. For Topic paragraph lines not to keep moving, use the table function. The topics editor was built specifically to use tables so you can design an interesting page like you have in games. For the writing section, the left panel’s menu list can be dragged and dropped like the topics menu below it. I have started to move my story into the app to see how well it can hold up. The story itself is fairly long so we’ll see how this goes. On Windows, the AI Engine is working so both the Linux and Windows version is identical in function.

On a side note, I’m concerned with Microsoft Windows and the increasing control issues they demand to have. I have Windows and Linux in dual boot. I’ll continue to fix the Windows version for now but I may not after 2027. That’s going to be decided by how Windows wants to force themselves on people.

The Extal World Builder is a beast! At least I think so. There’s tons of features on this thing that I regularly use. I would caution you though. It’s not fully tested and I’m sure there’s bugs in it. If you do use it, back everything up first. It’s a fascinating app but not fully ready. If you want to help out, test it yourself and if you find glitches here or there, head over to the forum on my website and tell me. It’s also where you’ll find the download for both Linux and Windows.
